Imagine a world in which teens are taught healthy and effective ways to deal with stress. Helping teens learn healthy coping skills is something I am very passionate about!
My background working with kids of all ages as a teacher and a school counselor allows me the insight to know how to put things in terms they can relate to. I have created a program that focuses on what stress really is, how it is created, where stress is stored, what happens if it isn't processed through the body, and how they will FEEL when it is dealt with for good.
Knowing and implementing these tools will carry them through any stressful situations that may come up in their future. If teens can learn how to manage their stress in a positive way, they will not only navigate life much differently, but also much healthier.
